Mikkel Rasmussen, Project Director

Mikkel Rasmussen joined International Wind Energy A/S as co-owner in 2008 and at the same time he took over the position as Project Director responsible for the sales activities on the Danish market.

Mikkel Rasmussen graduated as Master of Laws in 2003 from the University of Aarhus, and after that he worked and qualified as a lawyer at the law firm Gorrissen Federspiel Kierkegaard in Aarhus and Copenhagen. At Gorrissen Federspiel Kierkegaard he worked primarily with tax law, mergers and acquisitions and venture investments. From 2007 to 2008 Mikkel Rasmussen held a position as attorney-at-law and legal counsel at A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S, where he worked in the business unit Maersk Drilling, mainly focusing on negotiating and completing drilling contracts as well as acquisitions, dispositions and restructuring of group companies.

Mikkel Rasmussen’s legal background and substantial negotiation experience is a great advantage when the complex legal aspects in connection with the acquisition, brokering and management of wind farms are to be handled swiftly, smoothly and practically. Especially those of our investors who have their investment managed by International Wind Energy A/S prosper from the fact that legal problems can often be solved without involving external lawyers.

Moreover, Mikkel Rasmussen has already gained wide experience with all aspects of selling wind turbine projects to Danish investors. This experience, combined with Mikkel Rasmussen’s legal background and commercial approach, means that Mikkel Rasmussen, together with his brother, Casper Rasmussen, will be an important part of the future development and expansion of International Wind Energy A/S.
