Our approach Print E-mail
We offer the best and most serious wind turbine investments in Denmark - despite the fact that we prepare our budgets more conservative than all other brokers and sellers on the market.

We acquire the wind turbines at the most attractive price possible, thereby ensuring that our investments meet the budgets we prepare. Our budgets are all prepared based on the key principles:

 -
We use the feed-in tariffs as set out in the German EEG legislation – nothing more nothing less. This means that the feed-in tariff in our budgets drops after the turbine’s first 20 years. Most brokers and sellers continue with the high feed-in tariff (or an even higher) after the 20 years. This of course makes the average yield over the budget period much higher, but as an investor it is important to know that you actually pay for that higher yield today, but the high feed-in tariff is based solely on speculation and guessing by the broker.

 -
The wind production is assessed conservatively. When selling new wind turbines we always let EMD International A/S carry out a control calculation – or completely new and independent assessments – af the German wind assessments, which are typically too optimistic. When selling existing turbines that have some years of historic production, we use the average production converted by EMD’s index for the particular region. Moreover, we correct that average figure in accordance with the long term average of the past 15 years’ indexes.  It is our practical experience that this calculation is very precise.

If there is no full-service agreement containing a guarantee of the availability, we include provisions for larger repairs or replacements in our budget in accordance with the recommendations from the Danish Wind Turbine Owners Association. Only by doing that, you get a realistic budget.
